This privacy notice applies to online ordering from Kaani Pizza Ltd (company number 16540812), trading as Kaani Express by Amran's, whose registered office is 19 Princes Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 5TT. The ordering platform is provided by Voipos Ltd.

Information we collect

When you place an order, create an account, book a table, or contact us, we may collect your name, telephone number, email address, date of birth, delivery address, order contents, reservation details, messages, device/browser information, security logs, and payment status. Card details are entered and processed on Stripe's secure systems and are not stored, seen, or held on our servers.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, prepare and fulfil collection or delivery orders and reservations, calculate delivery, contact you about an order or problem, operate the EPOS/order workflow, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and food-safety obligations. We do not use your information for marketing unless you have separately agreed to it.

Service providers and sharing

We do not sell or rent customer information. We share only what is necessary with service providers that help operate the ordering platform, including Stripe for payments, Voipos Ltd and hosting providers, email delivery, postcode lookup, and order operations. These providers may process information on our behalf to provide their services.

Retention and deletion

Order records are kept for legitimate business purposes, including accounting, food-safety, fulfilment, fraud-prevention, and dispute records. Account deletion removes your identity, saved addresses, push-notification registrations, and other personal account data. Order totals, items, payment status, timestamps, and other records that must be retained may remain in restricted or anonymised form without your account identity and will be deleted when the relevant obligation ends.

Cookies and security

We use essential cookies to keep the basket, sign-in, session, and security functions working. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising/analytics services. We use HTTPS, anti-forgery protection, access controls, and provider safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, subject to lawful retention exceptions.
